Also both blue and brown Ike's are 40% silver. Clad proofs were in the regular proof sets.
And for the bicentennial (1976) there are both proof and UNC 40% quarter, half and dollar ... issued in special sets.

There were no Ikes in the '71 or '72 proof sets. The clad proofs first appeared in '73.

The Mint actually continued making 90% silver, 1964-dated coins well after 1964; I think into the first months of 1966. This was done to alleviate public concerns about a coin shortage (mask the actual amount of hoarding taking place) to ease the transition to clad. That's why the 1964 mintage figures are absolutely enormous compared to all previous years.

I agree ... good list so far ... Let's not forget the 2014 Kennedy half dollar set with four 90% halves, one from each mint P, D, S, and W And the 2015 March of dimes set with the two silver dimes.

Quote:Probably should include the 2015 proof and reverse proof Roosevelt dimes. GR58 did. They are in the 2015 March of Dimes set.
