@nohope, that is pretty interesting! I would be interested to see a few pics showing the process by which you turned the coin into the blade. Not sure if you took interim pics, but if you did, please consider adding those to this thread.

I'm sorry but Coin jewelry is a significant part of how I earn a living up until a year ago I was more than happy sharing how I made things but I have been copied at several of my local markets and driven out by people selling at a lower cost. Now if its something new I prefer to keep it to myself how I made it.

@nohope, ok yep. I hadn't considered that others might just copy your efforts. Really interesting piece--thanks again for sharing!

Very cool and creative yet again, nohope!

Was a clad Ike a specific decision or was it just what was available?

I don't know much about knives. Would this knife hold an edge? Or is it too soft? Any way, the knife is very cool.

Although the others may have tried to copy your products nohope, you have an edge over the competition in craftsmanship I am sure. Nice!

It is not a real Ike.

CGI. Green screen. Smoke and mirrors.

Nope, no way you hurt the real thing.

Just kidding. I actually like it. Good job.

Just goes to show true craftsmen don't need cutting technology to produce their goods. Interesting stretch!
