Super flat strike. Actual sharpness probably a bit better than it looks, so I'll go XF40. Not sure if original toning or cleaned and retoned, but either way, it will look great in a type set!

This is one of those coins I hate to judge from 1 photo. Leaves me guessing whether or not the toning is original. There's really no way to tell based off the pics provided.

I'll flip a coin and say it's original b/c I'm feeling lucky. My grade is xf-45.

VF-35, really on the fence on whether this is cleaned or not. The surfaces look unnaturally shiny from the pictures but I don't see a "halo" effect.

Agree that the coin has been cleaned and re-toned. It is too shiny, and the wrong color, for the wear.

VF-35 detail. Looks cleaned and retoned, possibly AT. If NGC gave it a straight grade I'd suggest leaving it alone because it might be hard to get it into a problem-free slab again.

As far back as I have been filling the 7070, the Arrows and Rays (Quarter and Half Dollar) falls in the same spot with the "arrows" for the 1853-1855 spot, just a little more specific and I think it looks better than just an "arrows" of 1854-55.

I see you're having trouble finding the right clad Washington quarter.

Maybe a PR70 example?

I was off considerably with my guess of EF40! Still a great example for your 7070!
