You're completely missing the point. This forum is here to share information with the 100,000 pairs of eyeballs that visit every day and all those that find it in searches in the future. If he just emails this thing to everyone then the topics become worthless. We're not here to solve each other's questions via email, that's just silly.

Another point to ponder. False rims are common on the misaligned die strikes. Generally the hammer die produces the effect. When I see false rims on obverse and reverse opposite each other I tend to question the coins diameter. This can be a very subtle sign or difference. The current images are skewed a bit so from my end I'm not able to make an assessment concerning diameter. What I'm getting at is the potential for a wide collar issue. Check the diameter and edge for signs. If nothing out of the ordinary, then rule it out. Thanks, Doug. http://www.error-ref.com/wide-collar/

Apparently he's only willing to share information with those he chooses to; the rest of us don't matter.

This may have been an issue with a flattened fin. On the first images you can these this on the OP's coin.

So doubt it's a wide collar it is only .08 mm wider then a regular nickels diameter
