Very cool! I have never seen coins or currency in a claw machine either.

Quote: Is that even legal? I would think the "Gaming Control Board" might have something to say. Depends on the states and how the machine is set. Some of them have to be set so that you can keep trying untill you get something. Of course in those machines the low value items are the easiest to get and the better ones are much harder.

By me they only have stuffed animals. And are they hard to get. My grand daughter got two of them the same day though.

Sometime around 2008, I was at a bowling alley for a dentist's "party" that they had going. I remember there was (and still is, but the prize is long gone) a claw machine with a rotating center disc that had a 1942 merc in a square box on it among others, a cheap pocket watch, some buff's, etc.
I see them from time to time in machines. You never know.

Happened to stop by the same store where I obtained the first....pulled this one out of the same claw machine. This one is in absolute horrid condition though. Still, it's always fun to find a silver certificate.

you must be really good at getting that claw to pick stuff up especially since you're sniping specifically at the currency it contains...maybe next time get some video on the phone of these magical moments.
