I am not sure because I can't find the exact one on ebay. But similar styles on ebay have sold for $3-10 in the past. (I searched "Robert Kennedy Token" and selected sold listings only (because you could have a $5 item, and list it for $500, and it will sit there unsold. It's only worth what people will actually pay for it, not what they will try to sell it for.)

Best of luck and welcome to the forum. I hope you find more coins and tokens in the future that continue to peak your interest in collecting.

This is a link to the U.S Bureau of Engraving and printing. If I'm not mistaken they are the makers of commemorative presidential coins. If they can't help you, they might refer you to the national archive. If you can't find anything then it might be custom made or a contest entry presidential commemorative token that never made it to an official design.
The bureau should also know what it's composed of along with who designed it.

I do not believe this is a US Mint product. It is more likely a private issue, but not sure of the source.

Is it me, or does the eagle look like it swooped down and attacked a bucket of KFC?

Great, now I'm going to see that every time I see the Great Seal from now on.

I'll never be able to look at the reverses of my Kennedy half collection again without getting hungry - original or extra crispy?

Off the top of my head, my first thought after seeing it, was that it came from a European souvenir gift shop. These types of American commemorative/memorabilia were mass-produced and sold in gift shops throughout Europe and the world.
