I guess I'll suggest he try a ebay auction for the best bang for his buck. Thanks for all the help,I may sell it for him as I highly doubt he has a ebay account. |

The OP's Black Eagle is an iconic large size Silver Certificate readily available in virtually any grade.
For reasons stated above I personally would want an example without the distractions. Some collectors are not as picky and are willing to forgive the imperfections for a reduced price.

Well I listed it on ebay and will report back on how it does,started at 99 cents and in 24 hours it's at $35.searching on sold items I'm guessing it sells for $130 and I put a reserve of $75,I can't put a link. |
