Coins can rotate in slabs. They can be rotated back. Or so I have read. I would be much more disturbed over the mislabeled 1901.

Call them and explain the problems. I'm sure they would be more than happy to correct them.

The 1927 definitely doesn't move in the holder. I sent them photos and called them, and they offered to reholder them both. It's just annoying that I have to send them back to get it done right.

I personally would only send coins of value above $200 to only PCGS/NGC. Just my opinion.

It is possible to rotate a loose coin in a hard holder, without resorting to damaging the holder in any way.

Agreed, but being a worrier, I fret less about the holder and more about producing some sort of friction on the coin itself.

At least they will correct it without hassle. That's worth a lot.

I have had a few new holders that got stress cracking and I took them in and they reholdered them for free. Of course I only live a 1/2 hour away though.

I'd wish they'd make a mistake and overgrade my coins

That must happen, too, but unfortunately only to other people...
