travel,I hope that one is genuine too. Something about the impressions into the metal and the nose are bothering me though. Might want to ask some of the experts on here for some advice on it just to make sure.

Quote: Would love to find a reliable auction site with a lot of traffic You need only ask. Please find below a link to coin sellers that we trust: http://goccf.com/t/285634I would strongly recommend sticking to sellers on this list unless you are pretty certain about someone else.

Hi Matt... I do not have a lot of experience but even I can see the obvious fakes on ebay. But I would not know enough to tell the "good" fakes... Spence - thank you so much for that list. I recently purchased my first denarius from one of the sellers on the list. I will post soon. Very excited to own it!

Claudius there are alot of fakes on eBay- yes but alot of them are not. I avoid the ones that look too perfect thats just me though- my preference. The older the better. Id rather have one kinda worn which makes it harder to fake than a mint one easy to fake.
One day these people creating fakes that will be able to create one indistinguishable to a genuine mint condition coin.
