(That cleaned 16-D dime is up to $6,000, now. Way over my head.)

Au-53 and she graded straight. I bid on this coin in a previous Heritage auction. It hammered at just under $3,000. I know one of the previous owners. He sold it to another dealer who cracked it out and sent it back into to PCGS. He was hoping for an upgrade, didn't get it and listed it with Heritage. Now it is for sale on Dick Osburns site for $3,700. This one has borderline Ed and has probably has been cleaned and retoned but was deemed market acceptable by PCGS twice. It just can't seem to find a permanent home.

The scratches under LIBERTY and next to AMERICA as well as the N in ONE don't look right to me - maybe Environmental Damage on that N? Details coin for sure.

Cleaned, environmental damage, tooled.
Though not all of that may fit on the label.

That's a tough one. The surfaces look a bit rough, even sort of like wrinkly skin in a few spots. But the planchet quality on a lot of these early coppers was pretty spotty, and I wouldn't be surprised if some of the funky stuff I'm seeing was already there when it came out of the mint.

I'm going to go with straight graded, considering how the grading services tend to be more lenient with early coppers (as the first one I posted can attest to).

I agree, the bright spots around the stars and around the outline of Liberty appear indicative of cleaning. This one isn't too egregious though and I wouldn't be surprised if it graded.

Remember that halos around the devices are not always indicative of a cleaning. Here's a link to a recent thread on CCF about it: http://goccf.com/t/308100&whichpage=1

This one straight graded:
