I have been looking at and studying these a lot lately.....
I will go with MS-64 as my guess.

I'd be at 64 too. I've been after one for my type set for quite some time, preferably NGC 64, and this one would have met my needs.

That single tiny cheek scratch doesn't drop it three points.

Loss of detail towards to bottom of the feathers, diamonds, and date. Die wear? Cause to be at 63

The coin was graded by NGC and pictures 1 and 4 show a lot of chatter on the coin.

Still a very pretty coin.

I think that NGC went through a short period where coins were over graded and their reputation suffered a bit.

Now, they have become much harder.
As a result, if I were to sell a slabbed coin on ebay,
I would find it easier to attract bidders with a recently graded NGC coin.

Fortunately, the whole grading, and buy / sell system has now become a bit more reliable.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is now up to the Chinese to find a way to fake the current slabs to a higher level of deception.
Constant vigilance is the is the best defense.

If it's got a CAC sticker how can you complain? After all, isn't that what ya'll brag about how great a CAC sticker is?

I personally don't collect for the slab. I think the stickers are pointless
