Very nice. But it does have some damage on United States. MS 62?

I don't see this any lower than an MS-63. It's a really nice Eagle & I wouldn't mind owning one that nice.

I'll guess 64 based on luster.

Quote: but really should be details scratched in my book. Wrong! That tiny pin scratch is so insignificant that it wouldn't even be mentioned by a competent grader. The pictures of that tiny coin are under magnification. It's a beautiful example.

Quote: PCGS ms64 with cac approval is the grade But why? I thought it had a scratch from united to the eagles wings and disastrous contact marks above the date and three scratches below America and chatter near states. (Insert sarcasm)It was so convincing.

Thanks for all the opinions everyone Mike - I agree that detailing the coin for the scratches is a bit harsh. Some of the graders on here I definitely look for their word of approval - if it passes their grading system it usually means it is a top notch coin

Yes, that coin has no reason to have a Details grade. That tiny scratch should have no affect on the grade. It deserves the CAC approval.
