Interesting finds!

Here is a bit closer up view of your second cent. I think that I see the remnant D to the North inside the mintmark. The marks above the mintmark are the rest of the remnant D or PMD or a little of both?

That coin is WDDO-007. Here is my edited version.

Now if we had the mint mark location, that would be a real plus for confirmation of being that die. But the doubling looks like a match.

Those two are definitely RPMs, the 1954-D is RPM-001 and I'm not sure which # the 1958 is.

I do not believe that one is WDDO-007. The image for WDDO-007 shows no doubling on the area between the lower lip and the chin but your coin does have doubling there. I think yours is MD as the lips have decreased in size.

Spence, the mark coming out the top of the D mint mark is actually another D. There is supposed to be a D coming out the bottom, but heavy polishing and normal die wear has made the bottom D disappear

I sent John a note to see if he has an image of the mint mark location? So far no message back yet.

The lower one can only be seen on earlier die states and even then it is weak.

There is another North and South RPM on 002. The lower mint mark shows on it.

Stage 'B' and 'C' even that is gone. Just the rotated mark on the vertical bar is them seen.

You are okay Spence. I'm glad that I can help you see!! :) and thank you coop, John has been busy lately so it may take a day or two. Appreciate it a lot. I really think it is the DDO because it takes the same exact shape of the doubled die, especially where the lip meets the nose and the chin very nicely, and also there is no MD on the nose and in my minds eye, there should be if it were MD.

Also I believe the 1958 D is an early stage of rpm 12. I'll try to do a location placement line up when I get home tonight or tomorrow after work.

Yes I did. Forgot which thread this was on. He doesn't have any images of the mint mark locations. Sorry. To me that would be a given on any coin until 1990. Then it would not be necessary anymore.
