Mr. D. Jr.,
I gotta say, if the coins in your post are all no-problem Fine or better, I'd say you got a heckuva deal for just under $165. Congratulations!

Parklane64, a Singapore quarter? That's an extremely rare denomination if not something I have NEVER heard of. I'm assuming a 20 cents or 50 cents?

Not only did I not purchase any coins but I also missed a coin show last Sunday. This old age stuff is getting to me.

100 dollar box of nickels. Found almost every coin to fill a Jefferson album pretty sweet I thought. No silver though. What I don't find for the Jefferson album goes in the bucket. Just figured I would see what I could pull out of a box of 100. Whats Interesting though is that I did not find 1992d nothing rare about that or is it?

I usually buy $20 worth of raffle tickets at our monthly Numismatic Society meetings. This week my investment paid off when my ticket was pulled from the drum for the big prize. I guess you could say it was a $20 purchase, which is one heckuva deal! Of course, all those other months I paid $20 and got bupkis, but so it goes.... Gradewise, I'd call this AU-55 details, with hairlines from a slightly abrasive cleaning. Still, I'll take it!

Yeah, that'll work. It bears mentioning that gold, given its' softness, will display symptoms of "harsh" cleaning far more easily than any other metal. Somebody could have wiped that coin with a fairly soft cloth and caused the hairlines.

I got some foreign banknotes this week. The neatest of the bunch was four 1910 1000 Mark from Germany with consecutive serial numbers. Not worth too much, but pretty neat to get four in a row from 1910, all in CU.
