Hi Punman. If you are in Calgary, the Royal Canadian Mint has a pop up shop coin exchange on the 2nd floor of the Westin Hotel November 17 from 9-5 November 18 9-12 with the colored Armistice coin. Limit of 2 coins per person is what they have advertised. 320 4 Avenue SW

Thanks for the heads up on that. Might do if I am over that way but if I have to pay for parking downtown, it might be cheaper to just buy from a coin store.

Would anyone travel to an exchange location for 2 to 4 coins ?

I certainly would not if I live in the suburbs. Not worth the gas for a 1 hr drive. It would be only worthwhile if the exchange is not far from you or if you work in the area or have to do something there anyway.

Once upon a time you could get a roll of coins at the exchange locations. Times have changed.

For those who still had doubts about the colour version rolls they do exists the box says 2018 2$ Armistice citrix code 2ARM painted while the noncolour label is basically the same except for do not distribute before Oct. 15 you just never knows what logic the RCM uses in their releases.

A kind teller whom I had visited a few weeks ago found a colour armistice and kept it for me. I did not really need it. So off it went back into circulation.

Today I received a brand new coloured twoonie in change. So that makes 3 coloured and 0 non-coloured; kind of wondering whether the non-coloured have been distributed yet?

Got two regular shrink-wrapped rolls from my local RBC last week. Opened one up today to pick out singles. Imagine my disappointment when I found all 25 were coloured. The other roll has a coloured coin on the end and would like one intact roll. Are there regular rolls with a mix of plain and coloured or do I now have to try and find two rolls roll with a plain coin on the end for face value in order to achieve my goal?
