I agree with the above comments. Looks good for a $30 coin.

I'm not too familiar with most of the VAMs yet, if anyone can spot one, let me know

Quote: I'm not too familiar with most of the VAMs yet, if anyone can spot one, let me know Well for starters every Morgan and Peace dollar is a VAM, meaning all of them have a designated VAM number assigned to them. Leroy Van Allen is currently the only person that can designate a new VAM if discovered. All VAM (Van Allen Mallis) means is a certain die pairing ala Sheldon and Newcomb for Large Cents or Overton for Bust Half dollars. Most VAMs don't bring any premium, while others would blow most Morgan collector's minds with the kinds of premiums they bring. I suggest a perusal over in the VAM section starting with this: https://www.coincommunity.com/us_mo...is-a-vam.asp

Thanks for the heads up westcoin, I need to learn how to spot the VAMs that carry a premium. Could be especially useful for when I pay flea markets and pawn shops a visit

That is a GREAT Morgan! LOVE the original luster.
Morgans WERE dumped into 1000 count BAGS at the mint for transport. So.....bag marks are actually expected. :)
Congrats!!

Thanks for all the help guys. I really appreciate it. I do suggest checking out your local pawn shops if you're interested to coins similar to this one. Owners occasionally aren't familiar with prices or varieties, and on top of that, are often willing to negotiate.
