Quote: Nobody is disrespectful I would like to know where I can find that price listed. Values/prices are NOT determined by lists somewhere. They are determined by actual prices paid by real collectors. Dealers sitting somewhere contributing to these "lists" with prices they want to get is all fantasy.

WOW John, Sorry you got treated like that. Some days it doesn't pay to get up. I think the guy was upset because you busted him.
I wonder how that double stamping occurred, because it would have to have been flipped and put back into the hopper to get struck again. Could a worker at the mint do this intentionally ?

Bigb13, you don't sound very nice. Now you're upset and lashing out on our members, which isn't very 'adult' like. Your welcome is completely gone, as you worned it out with me. This is my first and only reply to you. I will not bother reading your reply, as I will be moving on from this thread permanently.
Errers and Varietys.

Bigb13, where did you find this cent? And, the value is what someone is willing to give. No one that answered you was being rude in any way. It almost appears as if you bought the cent and are trying to figure out if you could flip it for a profit. Absolutely no harm in that as we all try to better our collections. I'm sorry you feel like never posting on this site again but we all have gotten answers to questions on this forum we didn't want to hear. I certainly have and it's made me a more informed collector.

pperry-? nss-52-$449.99 is not what the coin sold for,the green slash indicates that. The coin sold for best offer, which was ? In order to get an idea of actual value you need to find sold values. Best if you can find 3 that sold, add all three sold values together and divide by 3...there is your average value. That still does not mean you will get that amount, you will get whatever amount you are offered and accept. Stay focused on the coin, not the holder nor the comments. Thanks, Doug.
