CH27, I hope more Doubled Dies will be discovered for this year. Hopefully, it will be something like 2018 WDDO-001.

I have not seen any 2019's yet. I noticed the 2018-D's that the reverse's are "puffy" looking but I do not think they are DDR. I am not convinced that that 2019 on the bay is a true DDR,if anything maybe a master die doubling? I am wrong about 20% of the time you know though John1

I'd be hesitant to call this a DDR until I saw it in hand. The seller's photos have a lot of glare and a handful of their doubled dies for sale aren't what they say they are. And even if it is a DDR, I don't think it's worth the price.

Yeah Tanmam. I have noticed that too. Most of their supposedly called "Doubled Dies" aren't even one.

In spite of the somewhat blurry images, the DDR coin (Philly) does show thickness compared to his other example. Specifically the vertical leg of the L. IMHO I would say it is a DDR. Almost all years of Denver LSC's do show a thickness to the initials which is not hub doubling.

how boring are the LSC? I still got almost a full box of 2018 to go thru; had that box for about a month now.

Quote:Almost all years of Denver LSC's do show a thickness to the initials which is not hub doubling. On another note, that's precisely why I disagree with the listing of 2010-D WDDR-001. I don't see how that one is any thicker than the usual Denver coin. Quote:how boring are the LSC? I still got almost a full box of 2018 to go thru; had that box for about a month now. There's only one DDO currently listed for 2018 (and if I remember correctly, the number may go up to three once Wexler updates his site). Shield Cents haven't been very good for varieties in the past few years. 2016-2018 have been more or less a dud, only one moderately strong DDO per year and absolutely no significant DDRs. 2011, 2014, and 2015 are the ones to look at.

Petespockets55, it's definitely a genuine DDR.

Thanks E&V. Just wanted to confirm so we know the varieties have started. I was pretty sure from the sellers comparison collage. With DoubledDies.com being so far behind updating there is no way to tell if the seller may have submitted one. Hopefully the varieties don't end with this one.
Odd that the seller was from deep in Denver territory and finding a Philly variety. (Las Vegas, Nevada)

Petespockets55, if you want to submit it for attribution, I'd recommend sending it to Tanner Scott (Tanman2001 on CCF). He is the owner and admin of crdievarieties.com. He will attribute coins for free. You will only have to pay return postage.

Thank you E&V. I've seen his contributions regularly here on CCF. Starting up a new site seems to be a daunting task but I'm willing to help the hobby however I can.
I've bookmarked his site and hopefully I remember to reach out to him for info on submitting.
Thanks again.

Quote: I have not seen any 2019's yet. They started show up in customer rolls about a month back. Got 20 rolls two weeks ago. Only opened one and all I've noticed is the "9" in the date look thick on all of them. Quote:I noticed the 2018-D's that the reverse's are "puffy" looking but I do not think they are DDR. I've found many that I describe a fuzzy(rev.) It is hard to get EPU in focus under the loop. Everything else does look "puffy".

It was probably snow birder in. That is the way we find Philadelphia coins in Phoenix. They are most often flown in.
