I've found it intriguing that the Polish coins with Stefan Batory's image always show those two hairy moles on the right side of his face (also visible in the painting). I guess he wasn't vain.

A lot of great examples here! here is a ZAR (South African Republic before the British conquest) President Paul Kruger on an 1897 shilling and on a picture post card dated 1907 probably taken when he was in exile.
