It does look like a little distended doubling may be going on. That's a tough one.

I'm seeing the same things as Stoneman. The tail of that 9 has some thickness, the E on WE and RU of TRUST appear to be class6, even accounting for the Die Deterioration.

I say yes. IGWT and the 9 has extra thickness. Looks like there's more than just Die Deterioration.

Is the right leg on the R in TRUST normal for that year?

Thanks for the comments! Seems like there may be enough there to give it a go with a submission, which is in general my opinion although I have the advantage of having the coin in hand.

I find that the date and LIBERTY are fairly well comparable to the coin on Coppercoins although none of the die markers match:

Tropicalbats;

Could you share your lighting and photo capture method. Your first photo look absolutely PERFECT.

Hi Panther,

First photo is shot with a Canon S95, zoomed in two clicks, on a red post it note backdrop. The lighting is from a 60W type A halogen open bulb (not frosted) from steeply above and behind the coin with about 12 inches between the bulb and the stage. The camera angle is almost, but not quite directly over the coin. I shoot one with the coin rotated slightly clockwise and one slightly counterclockwise and then pick which one shows best the bits on the coin that are most needed to see (some angles the doubling disappears, other angles it's obvious).

These was the only coins struck made in Denver this year.
6,200,000 total

What other two coins were struck this year.
(One run of coins from each mint that year)

Correct. I had a friend that was born that year and he said they made no coin that year. So I located him a birth year cent and he was a happy camper.
