So what does it cost if value is over $10,000?

Over 10k CAC would be $29 a coin.

Done! Will send to CAC. Thanks for all your feedback. This is the first CC Morgan I bought at a show 6 years ago. Paid $9300 for it. Just recently upgraded this date to a PCGS MS65+ CAC Capped Die. Plan is to send to CAC and then to an auction house

What a stunner! Coins like yours are why people love the Morgans!

EDIT: That said, if I came home with an expensive beauty like that, the lecture from my Better Half would begin with "At your age" and end with me sleeping in a pup tent in the median strip of I-25.

Based on those pics it looks like it will pass at CAC. One heck of a coin.

Good plan. Looks like it deserves a sticker, well worth the fee.

It's likely cheaper to let the auction house submit it, some of them submit regularly anyways so it would save you the shipping cost and really at that value you should be able to get them to submit it for free

Agree. Great Collections does this, and they have been getting good money at their auctions. I'm submitting some coins to them in the next couple of weeks.

So you're going to commit this GC? Have you even tried to negotiate a rate with Heritage or Stacks/Bowers?

Getting GC to send to CAC. Didn't quite think about Heritage or Legend or Stacks. Thought they only dealt with large estates

A 10k coin is enough to get the big houses interested. If Legend likes the coin or would take it for consignment that would very likely be my choice

Completely agree. Any of the big houses will negotiate a deal with you.
