That too at $4.39. It's a cast.

This is one of a series of known Chinese counterfeit "Hobo" Morgans. It's a die struck zinc alloy fake.

This coin was NOT hand carved. It's a Chinese made "novelty" item.

No I didn't pay much for it.

Well, that's too bad. These types are still called "hobo" coins, even if they are recent creations. However, they need to actually have been carved, not cast/struck.

It looks like something you'd see on a Grateful Dead album cover.

LOL...still a cool representation of coinage but defiantly not of value...maybe 50 years from now as and antique.

I have to agree. But to each their own, of course.

If you want some creepy looking silver, I am a fan of this series:

https://www.providentmetals.com/zom...-design.html

provident is out of stock on these right now, but I'm just using this link to show you. They aren't antique carvings or anything, but they are real silver and copper and look pretty cool.

I have all of them in copper, but have yet to seek a silver. There's some great artwork on those, creepy or not. The "Starving Liberty" is my favorite.
