Quote:@USSID didn't you stop by Bonanza for the club or am I jist confused? Bonanza? I don't think so. I do remember talking to a guy here that's a member of a coin club in Maryland that said he had some connection with @GrapeCollects. But I don't know how, where or why.

OK, an explanation as to why I sent my coin to ANACS for evaluation.... It has a "scratch" on it... On the neck.. ANACS said, scratch VF-20 ... net VF-20 I had one dealer say, ""What scratch?"
OK, just how many 1885 nickels are available in VF20 without a problem? NOT MANY!
You must understand that well-circulated coins suffer from little bumps...... A VF-20 coin can, and often does,, have a little "oops!"
That does not make it suspect. nor objectionable." It makes it subject to further examination.. There are BAD "oops" and "OK" oops....
USSID18's coin is ...poopies, better than mine! Neither of our coins are less than VF20. So let us celebrate our holdings.....
Darn they both look GOOD!
