I'd say 67FS easily. Beautiful coin.

If you are looking to get it slabbed by a TPG call them first and ask whether you have to select the Variety option to get it evaluated for FS. Costs a bit extra but if they don't do that automatically you'll never know.

Thanks everyone. Kanga- I won't be getting this one slabbed. If I slabbed anything it would be a variety. :)

Could get it graded on the cheap at ANACS, heck it might even make the 68 level with them, then maybe try to cross it over to PCGS or NGC after that with an ANACS opinion on it, to maybe give them a subliminal impression.
Seems like his ponytail could be sharper, also maybe there's a scratch in his hair just above his forehead running almost vertically?
I think you are close, but as said unless you get 68 or better, probably not worth the fees to get it graded unless you just want to do it for you.

Quote: I might just air tight it for now. I think that's best. Nice coin, though! Quote: The scratch under the third column on the steps is not a problem? When I am trying to determine FS, I try to evaluate as a TPG would. If I were to get into FS collecting, my personal standards would be higher, but this coin seems very likely to receive FS if it were submitted. That scratch is quite minor and, I believe, within TPG tolerance.

I think that could get 67+ with PCGS. I'm no good at determining FS, but that looks pretty good to me!

Good advice. Those are dependent upon strike quality. That doesn't make them varieties.
