Ok good to know. The missing rim is almost certainly from wear. Can you please add a pic showing the doubling? Or if it is already there, can you add a arrow or something using MS paint to show us please? The doubling which may be evident with the coin in hand just isn't coming through with these pics. Thx.

You might get a different response if you post photos of the whole coin but I am inclined to agree with Spence. Though it might actually be a Dryer Coin rather than circulation wear, the rim looks kinda rolled by liberty.

My initial impression is that this looks like the early stages of a Dryer Coin, where a coin gets stuck in tumble dryer and the heat and spinning slowly deform it. If you do a search on the forum you will find some other pictures of similar looking coins.

Of course, error coins are not my thing so I will defer to others.

You can use the image optimizer here:

What-Type-Error-Is-This?

You can resize your picture from that screen, but honestly this coin isn't worth reposting. Definitely damaged. Keep looking!

The 82 MIGHT be a mis aligned die, the original coin might as well but it is so damaged its not worth keeping even as an example Imo. It's really.hard to tell from the video, you would be better of with pictures. If you are using your phone, take the picture, with out an angle, directly above the coin in diffuse light. Edit it before you use the optimizer, cropping so you are as close.to.the edge of the coin as possible without clipping of.any off. Then use the optimizer mentioned above, download the file and upload that. You may need to rotate them as well it depends.
