This is not a fake/no fake opinion. But I'd ignore it. Why? -- 1908 IHC's probably are not faked, but ... -- Blurry obverse picture; I can't grade it. |

I have to say it's not a fake . Why would any one fake a common 1908 IHC ? Besides I don't see anything wrong with this coin .  |

The pinkish color and devices looked off to me. Could be wrong. I've seen common Chinese counterfeits.

Dave - If you have images of a Chinese counterfeit of a 1908 IHC, I'd sincerely like to see them - not kidding.  |

I'm not mentioning the Chinese website but they sell them on there along with other commons.
They didn't use to say COPY

Only thing that looks off is the "one cent" on the reverse but I think its just the image? Almost looks like the word cent is warped, so its probably just me. :)

The ones on the images on the Chinese site may have COPY on them but if you ask (and you may not even have to ask) they will send ones that DON'T have COPY on them.
I have to agree that it doesn't scream "fake" but it does scream that something isn't right. (possibly real but messed with)
