Michael, a question for you: how do you think this happened? Can you give a plausible explanation as to how the error would have come about based on what you know of the minting process? Not trying to be facetious or condescending here, but I think there's a misunderstanding here as to how to identify errors.

Think about this for a moment.
Fact 1: Random circulation damage happens and is known to look vaguely like images from time to time.
Fact 2: Bits of wire and cloth/ paper are around the mint on a regular basis and on rare occasions end up struck into a coin.
Fact 3: The odds of a mini 10 dollar bill being in the mint must surely be astronomically low. Where one would even get such an object is a worthy research project. The odds of such a rare object getting into the machinery would seem lower than rare. Rare times 2.
Considering that your item looks like Fact 1, I think that we are on very safe grounds concluding that this is what it is.

Oriole I'd be on your side if I was looking at only these pictures that turn into an atari game pixel wise once I post. But the coin in a rotated double struck even if I'm wrong about the bill. And what I meant about mini 10 dollar bill was that it was one of those hidden images they seem to put all through the real one

Michael, It seems the only thing left for you to do is send it in and get attributed , I think you will spend a considerable amount of cash and find out all these folks are correct in their comments on your coin's

I have to read the title of this thread twice and gone through the entire posts, my suggestion to Michael is get The Official Price Guide to Mint Errors by the late Alan Herbert, read The Minting Process like I have to many new comers to this hobby.
The rest of the book details all errors and varieties, it will be a wise investment and excellent education in time if you decide to get into collecting errors.
