They appear to be heading in a not-so-good direction by slabbing, and calling, manufacturing anomalies "errors".
But hey, it's grading fees that pay the bills!

"Pating" does not engender trust in this slab, it reminds me of scam emails with widespread "misspeelins".

I was wondering what it said on the site about this one: https://www.PCGS.com/cert/60161792I wondered if they misspelled that word on the slab, but the paperwork for it says the same thing.

What a joke! It's not an error. Just a poor quality coin.
Errers and Varietys.

Wow, unreal! Not an error, just a good grading service going downhill.

The holder's pretty old, so I wouldn't be too skeptical yet.

Everyone has these. It doesn't add value to the coin. I wondered if the DCam was what made it worth something. But not even that would warrant grading it. It doesn't either. Best to learn before you buy.

As most U.S. collectors know, plating problems with U.S. Cents abound, and thus are extremely common. So common in fact, that I don't bother to collect plating errors.
Quite often, these U.S. Cents are single use only coins, much the same as single use plastic bags. I guess that may have been expected by the U.S. Mint, and explains why they are so often found in high grades - lots of individual coins only see a tiny amount of circulation.
