From the photos I would have guessed AU details polished. But knowing it straight graded I will the graders put AU-55

Here's the answer that should surprise in an old holder. Most blatant example of undergrade I can remember. If/when CAC opens back up, this will be on its way. The best part -- I paid XF money for it.  |

I was going to venture AU-50. This coin has quite a few small bagmarks making for a "busy" look in the fields. That might have prompted a net-grading adjustment. Nevertheless, XF-40 does seem like an undergrade.
Nice coin nevertheless. Congratulations on adding an excellent Dahlonega piece to your collection.

I actually agree that it's undergraded, it does look natural in the new photos, could get a gold sticker potentially. Great piece.
