the 84(O) are typically a little weak in strike. I think this one is AVG+ lighting is over powering the surfaces so we cant really see what fields or devices really look like. it looks like the luster is broke across the cheek and some the neck and there are some scratches in those areas but difficult to determine severity. I'm in the MS63/64 range leaning MS64 but I just cant see it getting to 65

not sure this is gem either. I'm seeing a couple of long edge hits under the right wing of the eagle.

there are a couple of hits on the cheek. they look light but it's easy to minimize hits with lighting.

nice fields overall, weak strike based on hair over the ear.

would like to see it under more natural light to see how the luster looks.

63/64 seems like a reasonable estimate.

I think it's a good 64. I agree with Numismatic Student's comments that it's not a gem.

what causes the little black dots on Morgan's? I try and stay away from those however I have a AU-50 1892 that has one on the cheek but I think I paid 40.00 figured I would upgrade down the road. dots on this one are small though probably hard to see

The reverse is overexposed, but I can see this at 66.

The ever so slight golden toning on the obverse is so much nicer than "blast white".

Compare that to an OGH 66 .
I wouldn't buy the posted coin as 6 .

Don't have it in hand yet but cheek looks clean on the photos. A toning spot or two but toning overall is very attractive.

Agree. I'm not seeing the problem that others are seeing.
