Interesting, it'd be cool to have a new one. Best of luck!

If you are looking at the 'R' on Trust, I feel the V.V example is flattened with some damage on that device. So I feel it is that die number DDO-001. WDDO-001 mentions markers: Quote: 1969 1¢ WDDO-001 "Best Of" Variety
Description: A Class V CW spread from a pivot at about 5:00 shows on the LIB of LIBERTY and on the letters of IGWT.
Die Markers: Obverse: A small die gouge (dot) can be found just under the E of LIBERTY. A short die gouge runs from WNW to ESE below Lincoln's lips. Reverse: A small die gouge protrudes from the rim above the right side of the U in UNITED. A short die gouge can be found to the right of the top of the 2nd Memorial column.

I agree. It looks nothing like the DDO-001 or WDDO-001 or 1DR-002. Thanks for the extra images. Now I see what you are seeing. You might want to submit the best example to the three sites for a new die number.

It could be a later die stage where the separation on IN GOD and LIBERTY is worn away. Either way, definitely worth sending in to get looked at.
Nice find!

Thanks everyone. I will get one in the mail to MR Wiles tomorrow and post when it get back what he finds. The way this coin looks and lacking the die markers of the other DDO 69'p I am thinking it might be a new one to look out for. OH and there are 4 not 3 lol I forgot the one I took the pictures of I put it in a air tight and in to the box. So IF it's a new DDO there will be 4 known as of today.

This looks so much like a DDO, but am having trouble seeing any enlargement of the devices. Yes submit it for evaluation as it's an interesting coin. Hope it comes out as a new one!

I have same problem I am stuck on mine being a DDO or a new variety but all I get is no no no and more no some more am I seeing die deteriation is this not a DDO they appear the same to me outside of a mint mark I am struggling to learn how to decipher a DDO to mech doubling or die deteriation and thought I was making progress? I'm guessing so many differnt form of doubling per coin I am using the same comparison and quite possibly the end of my collecting searching maybe I'm wanting to see as a. Error as opposed to die damage.just saying and I guess my coin to me is or has to be the worst deteriation possib lik e like fools gold lol. Is there no coralation or similarities between mine and yours?or am I way off (typical)
