It was good to learn and read about the variety. Gives me something to look for. Thanks for sharing

Nice! Unfortunately for me the only one I've seen wasn't mine, one at the shop was AU-55

Very nice! I will definitely consider a slab if I find a higher grade and straight grading example sometime.

It is PVC, which should be removed by acetone. I am working on getting my hands on a bottle soon.

The tail feathers were the giveaway for me, not to mention the strength of the entire reverse. The eagle is very sharp.

Nice one CH. I've looked but never found one of those. They're so obvious. I've got a couple jaw dropper Washington's coming in. Only 27 graded and I had to buy a whole roll to get them. It looks like there's only 2 in the roll but hopefully I missed a couple more!

New Update on this coin: I gave it an acetone bath for about 1 minute, maybe a little over and the PVC looks to be removed and the the coin looks to be in much better shape.

I did an initial bath in acetone, then rinsed in a clean and new jar of acetone and that seemed to do the trick.

It doesn't look cleaned or altered, other than the absence of the PVC. Big Thanks to the forum members for helping me acquire and safely use acetone!
