Cherry picked this off eBay for around $8. There are a couple spots of PVC that should be able to be removed with acetone, so I am working on getting my hands on that.

Aside from that aspect, the 1964-D Reverse of 1965 is a rare variety. There are only two die pairs known to have been paired with a Reverse of 1965. Finding an example unattributed is exceptionally difficult.

Finding a better example will probably take me another year or two. Regardless of condition, I am still very happy to have finally added one of these to the collection.

Thanks for taking a look!

-CH27

This is a nice read for this variety:

Well out of everyone on the forum, you, from my eyes at least, have cherrypicked the most! And you're certainly great at doing it as well! Anyway, congrats again!

Yeah these are toughies. I am fortunate to have this one even with the minor PVC.

Very nice! I will definitely consider a slab if I find a higher grade and straight grading example sometime.

It is PVC, which should be removed by acetone. I am working on getting my hands on a bottle soon.

The tail feathers were the giveaway for me, not to mention the strength of the entire reverse. The eagle is very sharp.

Nice one CH. I've looked but never found one of those. They're so obvious. I've got a couple jaw dropper Washington's coming in. Only 27 graded and I had to buy a whole roll to get them. It looks like there's only 2 in the roll but hopefully I missed a couple more!
