In terms of reflectivity, it seems DMPL on both sides. I'm hesitant to submit it to PCGS for reconsideration though. Maybe NGC? It's a $400 coin in MS-65 but $4000 in MS-65 DMPL.

The obverse has great reflectivity and contrast. Seems the reverse is not as reflective. How does the reverse compare to the obverse surface in hand? Right now seems like the reverse falls short which is why they didn't give it PL.

Indian - both sides are about equal in reflectivity. The lighter color of the top portion of the reverse is actually a reflection in that photo.

Yeeaaahh, obvious prooflike is obvious.
Sketchy.
Please don't sell that to anyone for $400.

Definitely PL. Might want to resubmit to either PCGS or NGC.

PCGS is tough on PL and DMPL designations. Coin is probably close, but looks like the reverse fell just short on the mirror depth.
In the old days, would have called this semi-PL
Regardless, a very attractive coin.

it difficult determining PL designations in a photo without some type of reference such as newsprint to determine depth. both sides must meet the standard for the designation. the luster on this one is very nice. PCGS is tough on these. strike is sharp which is typical for the year with some minor contract marks on the profile. MS65 is the correct grade but cannot comment on the designation

Would you be willing to post a closeup pic of the top half of the reverse? Thanks!

A couple more shots showing reflectivity. Seems to be at least 6" on both sides with no breaks.
