Looking at all the photos, the first 2 look red, while the other do not. MS64-cannot grade RD or RB.

Here are some old cell phone pics. I am surprised at the lack luster response regarding eye appeal. I think its very pretty but really curious what others think and even regardless of grade. I do not get insulted at all. :)

Very sharp strike, strong eye appeal, and about as red as a two-cent can be. A few tiny dark flecks might be grade-limiting.
Don't see why it would grade less than MS-65 RD. Beautiful!

I get that all the time, don't take it personally, people post on what they like and what interests them.

If it makes you feel any better, Id love to have it in my collection. it is very good looking coin, I think the double pictures was confusing, you have the red and brown.
Rest in Peace

Its 66Red CAC. The thing about this coin, is it pops in hand. Booming uninterrupted luster and no fade or changing of the color. What you see in the images makes the spots seem enhanced. In person I think its a beauty. But of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The first images make it appear a little more dark red. In person its a light blonde red. This is a coin that would be helped with video. Do you think cac/PCGS were a little too happy that day?

It looks like my 2c does in hand. RD in photos, RBish in hand. 66 seems right, but I learn RB.

killer coin. I agree the original photos do not show the actual color.

Late to the 2 cent party on this one, looks really nice and worthy of the grade Jon. I only see a couple of fly specks of carbon spots, pretty unusual to find them without any at all. I had my collection of graded slabbed 66 coins but never had any all red ones. a few RB and a bunch of browns. This one would easily be included in my old 66 collection, don't see many this nice at all. I can see why you'd buy it back again.

Also I'm happy PCGS is now putting the Fancy or plain 5 on the labels, nice to see the series get a bit more attention. A fairly easy series to complete, in business strike and east to do in proof as long as you have the money and are okay leaving out the small motto proof. That SM Proof is a subject I have been studying for a few years quite intently now, not quite ready to write a book or anything but I've uncovered some interesting things that aren't really talked about with them. Still more research to go on it.

Thanks for sharing this beauty Jon!
