My son gave me a 2nd Lowe/Fraser $20 note last night, 2 very prominent folds unfortunately. Still a keeper though. Serial No. BB190048922

Quote: My son gave me a 2nd Lowe/Fraser $20 That is very sweet of your young fella. I'm still hunting for my 2nd. Happy with the 1 I have but another 1 or 2 would be fine.

Nice, I'll have to keep my eyes out - I'm sure someone said they were only in Victoria but clearly they're spreading.

Interesting. Thanks. I wonder if we can trust those figures.

Numbers are from the Reserve Bank website - I'd hope they're reasonably accurate.

Do they use the same serial numbers but with different prefixes?
i.e. AA 19 0189258 and EA 19 0189258

Yes that's right - the same number will be used across an entire sheet of notes.

Pulled 3 of them from ATM. Maybe they aren't so scarce as first thought?

Probably not - they're definitely out there. I've found two uncirculated examples and I haven't been making an effort to look for them.

I've got quite a few of them so far, all from circulation.

yeah there quite a few out now, note people are either looking for low numbers or specific matching pairs of serials either running numbers (UNC) or prefix alphabetically

I have 10 so far, some in quite nice condition, but a few also with nasty folds.
