PM BadThad , hes had some Verdi-Care stock lately when asked. Follow the directions and it will clean that right up.

Levelsofmadnes, will do!

Oh good idea Pete, I'll make sure to try and experiment with that.

Thanks Coinfrog!

Sounds good Kloccwork, thanks for letting me know that he restocked. I'll PM him when I get a chance.

EDIT: Sadly it's not available, ah well.

On the earlier die state examples there is more going on.

I did indeed notice that Coop. I need to keep an eye out for the earlier stages.

Nice RPM. If you type XYLENE in the search bar it brings up some past topics on using it to clean cents. Even BadThad mentions it in a few of the articles. Takes more caution to use than acetone though.

The earlier die states of this rpm are sharper but as this die aged it progressively showed more of the secondary mintmarks . In later die states there is more going on.

There are other rpms that become more pronounced in later die states 1960-D rpm-002 for example

1946-S rpm#22 is unknown in early die state and gets stronger as it ages

Very nice SilverCents. Its quite the rabbit hole to get not only one of each type of RPM, but all the stages too! Man that would be a collection.
