What To Do And Where To Start With 47 1921 Morgan Dollars

So far I have only been able to get this one scanned image. I'm currently at work and am having my mother scan or try to scan a couple coins. So far I have this one obverse and a broken scanner.

Grading can be difficult from flatbed scanner images but this one appears to be high AU to possibly uncirculated and from the die crack from the rim, through the second left star to the neck appears to be VAM-3DT. http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.c...21-P_VAM-3DT

I take my pictures with my Samsung cellphone and they are generally good. Put the phone on a flat surface, far enough away that the image fills the screen under full magnification (avoids the depth of field problems to some degree if the coin is too close to the lens).

Im sure I can do better than this but I feel like no matter what I did the focus was off. What's the consensus on microscope photos?

I know that its about a $30 coin, that was never the issue. I dont know what to do with 47 of them. These were left to my mother when my grandfather passed and they were his fathers. Now no one in the family even remotely collects aside from myself and while I may keep one or two I have no need for 47. My issue is I dont know where to go to sell them. Do I go to my local coin shop and get lowballed, do I run to ebay, and if I do sell online what risk are there. I have tried searching for these answers and honestly everything ive come up with seems to conflict with itself.

Edit: As a side note I also have 30 or so other silver dollars mostly older Morgans and 3 Peace dollars. I figure if I can work out what I should be doing with the 21's I wont screw myself on the older ones.

Ok, I appreciate that information. Are there any common issues I need to worry about with selling on ebay? Are there things I need to do or should do to protect myself from potential scammers? I havent sold there in years. I've been trying to research this all for the last two weeks and it feels like every time I'm starting to feel comfortable I find new info or conflicting info. Ill be honest this is an overwhelming hobby to be be thrown into. Ive spent hours looking at grading info and comparing the coins to graded examples, and trying to discern the differences is difficult to say the least.

Don't post a grade in the listing. As Slider said, take good pics. Experienced coin buyers can decide for themselves from that. I find it to be a sellers market right now. Especially with Morgans. I've had a hard time finding any bargains lately.

But if you don't want the hassle, and will settle for melt, JMBullion is paying $21.40 each for Morgans and Peace in any shape. As long as you have at least $1000 to sell. And you would if you added in the new batch. That price fluctuates minute to minute. I have sold to them and had a good experience.

My LCS will sometime pay $2-3 over melt for common date average grade Morgans. Depends on how high or low their inventory is. So it might be worth calling around.

Titles on ebay are very important for searches. It is best to spell out the denomination and use numbers. For example,
