This is where I must disagree ,please don't give him a hard time on something you might not know , the " fg " on the reverse is easiest way to tell , 1989 they changed the g added a bar on the front of it ,. Some of the 88's have it and they are called Wide AM , if yours is straight up and down no added bar on front bottom of it , it is a normal 88

What, exactly, don't I know? He asked about a Wide AM, didn't mention the FG, they all have the same AMs.

By who? And why? What you're talking about has nothing to do with the AM.

I'll start calling my Nissans Dodges and see if it catches on I guess..

with Bobby. Something about the AM that gets people
The 88 & 89 I guess they don't catch that FG is what you're looking for. Somewhere a few years ago I saw they mentioned that the ( Wide AM) for some reason on 1988 or 1989 (and check for the different FG).

For choice of cars. I'm old and prefer 1970 Mustang Mach 1.

They don't have a clue. But not all the 'AM's on the 1988 cents are the same. There is a rounded and a flat AM. The RDV-005 had a round AM and the RDV-006 has a flat 'AM.'

But that is something that is different besides the 'FG'. But the rounded and flat AM is an easier way to tell which is which. IMOHO

If more members used the Search box to do a little investigation on their questions, we could all save a lot of time.

Judging from the number of simple repetitious questions we get every day, you must be right.

How could they not know? It's right there on the upper left. Maybe they get to excited to even look? Is there a way to make it more obvious?

My guess is that sometimes it's a matter of they don't know what to search for or they search too specifically and can't find what they need.

I don't mind a Nissan myself.
