You know my thoughts, no less than MS65 RB, shot at MS66. Great color, great strike, great looking example!

Now that you have it in hand...do you think it captures enough color for RB?

Yes...in hand the center is a nice light red color which tapers to a mid to dark rb rim. In hand I love the coin, hopefully the TPG don't give it a qc, the toning to me looks natural, but we all know how PCGS works.

Oh, and I'd say it has quite a good shot at ms66rb in hand, only tick I see that would keep it from making 67 is the tick on the O of One, there is small amount of chatter below America as well, but pretty insubstantial in hand. To the naked eye none of the above is visible, even knowing where to look.

That's even better looking than I expected. Please post the TPG grade once you get it back. I would agree with ms66rb

What a shame. I wonder if it was attempted to be graded in the past as well. It does have a cleaned feel to it. Color is a bit too light.

Is this 1915-D RPM-001? The mm position and appearance looks right, and it looks like it has the reverse marker, too.

I agree with @BadThad about this one.
