I can see an EF40 weakly struck on this one. It's probably cleaned it's hard to say positively, the obverse looks like it the reverse looks better. In hand is a must on this coin. I wouldn't be bidding online for it unless it was super cheap, like close to bullion cheap.

I'll post new photos when it arrives. I'm not seeing the cleaning signs the rest of you are, just some photo glare. Too much dirt still in the protected areas and what appears to be natural luster. We'll see when it gets here.

Well for those that said cleaned, you nailed it. Guess I'm losing my touch. Also the seller shot the reverse with the coin on an angle to hide the scratches on the eagle. In hand this one looks like a VF-35 details, cleaned and scratched. Another ebay seller added to my do not buy from list.

Wow that doesn't even look the coin in the original photos at all.
I'm going from EF40 to F15 details - way too big of a jump and only due to misrepresentation via photographs.
After looking at the reverse more carefully I was too generous to begin with anyways.

I'll stay at VF Details Cleaned, VF20 Details to be more exact. What a shame. Seller definitely shot the pics to make it look as appealing as they could, a bit deceiving if you ask me
