Oooh that is a nice one! When the Walking back in Time v3.0 thread reaches the 1410s in a few weeks, I hope that you'll post this. Here is a link: http://goccf.com/t/404421

Sel, I will keep that info for sure. It "was" NGC certified but it mysteriously fell out of the case. I will keep the insert as a reference.

I'd send it back to NGC to get re-holdered and send along images of what the cert number and UPC bar is as well as images of the capsule. Very nice coin but out of my numismatic studies.

:) When I say it "fell out" I mean I removed it. I don't believe medieval and ancient coins belong in coffins.

Nice one! And maybe when we reach those early decades of the 15th century on the "Walking Back in Time" thread, we can see how many other coins we can post related to the Battle of Agincourt?

Congrats! A coin of Henry V should be on most "must have" lists. I have a special hammer dedicated to busting out these certified coins. A couple of taps and they pop open.

Quite right. This is the reason I rarely buy proof coins. How is someone new to numismatics supposed to connect with that era if they can't have the coin dropped into their palm? "That was in a English purse 600 years ago, paying for the week's bread!".
