I didn't find my first 2020 mob of roos dollar coin until April 2022 and since then there has been an absolute flood of them. Doesn't appear they will be anything special after all. Is the RAM holding back the release of 2021 and 2022 MORs like they did with the 2020 ones?

There are also the Donation Dollar coins. Thirdly, demand for Dollar coins might not have been as high as they had expected because of Covid.

The RAM has amended the mintage figure of this coin from 430K to a whopping 6.36 million The incompetence of this organisation never ceases to astound me.

That is quite a discrepancy. I might find an updated total of 636,000 an acceptable error, but nearly 6 million short?

Is it because it was produced over multiple years? I've seen eight now anyway.

Its hard to get excited about the COA 50c unless its a very low mintage. I managed to get about 100 mabo 50c and yes it was a low mintage of 1.1m. The federation coins of 2001 are collectable I have put together about a dozen sets. I found a few incuse 2000 coins too.

Nice find, MMM, I got a 2024 20c in change a week or so back. Normally, in past years the next year's coins would start appearing around this time of the year or thereabouts. Ok. So the 2024 coins are starting to surface. I wonder when, if at all, the 2025 coins will start making their appearance based on what has happened that the 2024 coins are surfacing NOW when in the past it would have been normal to start finding 2025 coins.
In a recent thread I started, I asked if anyone had found any of the standard issues of the 2023 5c,10c, 20c, 50c or $2 coins in circulation. It doesn't really matter to me because I've bought 7 x 2023 UNC vegemite sets - one set each for my 5 grandsons and two sets for me to keep. I've always liked the 50c coins.
MMM, jbuck and Mr T :- I'm still waiting for the RAM to update the REAL mintage figure for the 2021 MoR's. 160,000 ? Is the 70,079 UNC sets with the 2021 MoR's included in this160,000 figure?
I can't help thinking that there's a reasonable chance the RAM might also have us believe that the sun sets in the East.....
