I tried twice to enlarge this and the photos (before upload) were both larger that the one first posted.

However, after uploading each newly enlarged shot it seems like they both reverted back to the size of the original photo. Why's that happening?

Try enlarging and posting each side separately.

Be aware that enlarging relatively low resolution images will not necessarily bring out fine detail.

AU-50
At that grade, it should bring AU=50 money in a retail sale.

Agree. I think AU-53 is right for the sharpness, just trying to get a better feel for the surfaces.

AU 53 sharpness, but I'm questioning the surface originality. Looks like it may have been cleaned or lightly polished. Need sharper images

I see signs of original luster in the protected areas. If it was cleaned, it couldn't have been too harshly. I wonder if the ding on the eagle's left wing (our visual right) would be the reason for detailing the coin.

I think a coin with a contact mark would have better sale value than a harshly cleaned coin. Depending on the reason for detailing, I could see something either between EF-45 and AU-50 money or full AU-50 money for the coin.

Can't tell from those photos. Could be anywhere from AU to low MS, possibly details.

the strike is correct for the year. the surface preservation looks suspect but should grade straight. eye appeal will be on the lower side affecting value. technically AU53/55 but value wise might be in AU50 range
