Can't see this any higher than MS63 personally. Still an attractive piece.

Very attractive toning and luster, but that hit on the cheek limits it to 63.

63 for me. Is that PVC residue on the coin? Or is that finger prints

the coin has been mishandled in the past showing either finger or palm prints. I'm not into toned coins as in a lot of cases dont age well. this one is not bad. strike is correct for the year. you have some scuffs and scratches on the fields on both sides and the elephant in the room is the reeding on the cheek, which coinfrog commented on, is in a key area which has more of an effect on grade. technically MS64 however, with the hit and finger/palm prints, I would net it to MS63

I'm with the group that sees the fingerprints and cheek dings undermining the toning and keeping it a 63 tops.

I agree 64 all day..but with the hit it brings it down to a 63.

The three heavy hits on the cheek limit it to MS-63 but it has outstanding eye appeal so might trade at 64 prices.
