A solid AU50, wouldn't argue AU53

the 01(P) are typically soft so no surprise here. overall the coin looks to be a hair better than AU50. I'm at AU53 also.

Probably AU53 based on the American Coin Grading system . Rest of the world grading GVF near EF . Decent example !

This one is AU-50 while I don't have it in hand yet I am hopeful as 1901 is a tougher year to find a decent looking example. I am super happy with the price I won it for 229.00 which seems to be low compared to what they have been going for.

I'd go AU53, AU50 is ok.

Got this in the mail today and I think its really nice looking in hand. Still has quite a bit of luster . Nice original colors with a light edge toning in spots. I could see this upgrading to 53 Especially happy with the 229 purchase price especially considering on a auction last light another AU-50 went for 364 with auction fees. This one is also VAM 22

I guess the significant remaining luster pulled it up to AU. Sure, the strike is soft but there is a lot of friction over fields, Liberty's cheek, and the eagle's breast and legs. Incomplete feathers on the left (facing) wing I presume is mostly strike weakness.
I had it at XF-45.

I dont know it looks a little under graded in hand , would imagine it would get a 53 . Looks quite AU in hand. Nice coin

Wanted to circle back to this one . VAM 22 Has a messed up E to begin with and a stressed die but looking closer at this one it looks like it took a hit in the area as well. it is straight graded but should I be real concerned it will get called out at PCGS on crossover? looks like 3 hits in the same spot near the E It doesn't bother me and it looks to have same luster in the hit and toning as rest of the coin . Maybe something happened when it was struck? It dont know.

I don't think that would warrant a details grade given the way these coins were handled and stored.
