Thanks everyone!

I may just take a shot and send it in. Especially since I purchased it for $40. And I need to send in lower MS grade 1883-O VAM4 I found in the same lot.

this is one that I probably would not consider slabbing unless you are planning on selling it. its going to come back at 64 and maybe 65. at 64 its definitely not worth grading. at 65 recent sales are in the $200-230 range. for me thats not enough to slab but a decision thats up to you obviously

a PCGS silver membership is $69 plus shipping plus grading fees. I think a single regular coin grade is $38

I agree with the others, definite MS-64 but possible MS-65. That is a very clean cheek.

Everyone was spot on. Decided to send it in to learn a bit better myself and because I didn't have much into it.

Here at the TrueView pictures.

looks like they graded it as MS65 using the cert number

i think the clean cheeks and just some rub here and there kept it at that grade. this is a good lesson in what the original coin looked like compared to the TV. none of those scuffs from obv K7 to K9 and K7 rev are seen on the TV
