Thanks - At somepoint I need to drag out my collection in its entirety and get a combined collection photograph.. (I'm just not sure that my dining room table is big enough to hold it all )

@morgans dad, I have all the silver proof sets from 1950 to date with many clad sets from the 70's. Not interested in clad so the 80's are void. 1936 to 1942 would be great to have but funds are not there for me.

I think the sets go on sale today at noon, with a product limit of only 50,000 and household limit of 1, Do you think it will sell out?

Quote: Do you think it will sell out? At $201 I think it will take a while, but it eventually will. The only thing "limited" about this set is the packaging. It is pretty nice, but as with previous years' LESPS sets, you can get the same coins for cheaper by buying the ASE and Silver Proof sets separately. I bought the 2017 LESPS because it had an ASE that was only available in that set and the Congrats set, which I somehow missed that year.

Looking back at my records, looks like I bought the '13, '14 and '17 LESPS's. I do appreciate the packaging and it really showcases the silver coins nicely.

Oh no, they changed packaging?! That was supposed to be the big draw of this set! IIRC that's one of the reasons why there wasn't a 2015 LESPS (they had trouble sourcing their packaging).

Yes, last year (or was it the year before?), when they changed the ASE packaging to the cheap frocked plastic holders, they did the same for the LESPS too.

Quote:I bought the 2017 LESPS because it had an ASE that was only available in that set and the Congrats set, I went overboard and bought dozens of TPG 2017-S ASE proofs, which have done nothing but gather dust over the last few years. Seems to be an unlimited supply even though the mintage is relatively low.
