Mint state red...probably a 63.
And the price guide values on my site are old. That's probably around a $50 coin now. An MS65 would run more like $90.

With a scale or if you don't have a scale balance two known later date zinc coins (such as 1983 or later) at each end of a pop sickle stick or anything similar, then remove one of them and replace with your coin. If it still balances it's a zinc, but if it drops it's copper. Copper will be heavier.

You will never know till you do. Are they all from the same source? If they were all from the same run, after a few rolls you can watch for the same die scratches/cracks/gouges. If they all contain the same coins over and over, they may have all came from the same run. After a few rolls you should start to see if it is necessary to open the rest or not. But if they are single rolls? I open them!

I would pick 5 rolls randomly from the container and see if the markers match on the coins from roll to roll. If they do, chances are that if the wrappers all look alike/have the same markings they could be from the same batch. If you find this to be the case, then don't open the rest. Save them to sell later. If you don't see the same markers on the different rolls, they may have bought a few at a time. You should have examples from several dies in the batch, so sort them to see if they match markers or not. Then go from there.
