It appears to match. So if this is an impaired proof then I say yes. We will see what other pros have to say.

KerryKz, What are you using to take photos?1st pic is very blurry.2nd and 3rd pic looks soft and pixelated.Last pic looks like a photo of a scopes monitor screen? Going to need better photos to really help you any. When taking photo take them the exact same way they are represented on whatever reference site you are using. John1

I'm not a student of the early proofs, but the rims stood out to me at first glance. A good photo of the T of Liberty might help as there is a marker there for this die pair.

Quote: Dearborn, did you even look at the link? Of course I looked at the link, I wanted to see more of the OP's coin. Thank you Kerry for the extra images - they are fine.

I'm thinking we're on to something here. Looks promising--especially with the 4th pic showing TE.

I agree that this one looks promising.
Images of the areas showing the markers (as depicted on CC) would be the best way to attribute this one. Fingers crossed for you.

I think if we can get better photos and if Mike chimes in on it, we will have an answer. John1

Coop All the VV lists are class VI. This would be a class III doubled die. The dots in EPU are not, in this case, a pickup point .

Now I saw this 1909 VDB 1DR-008 come up on CopperCoins recently and I noticed something about it: it looks just like the master die doubling (or reduction lathe doubling) on other VDB cents. Just check out 1DR-005. Quote: 1DR-005... NOTE: Subsequent evaluation and discussion shows that portions of the doubling may in fact be Master Die Doubling, or reduction lathe doubling. Here: https://coppercoins.com/lincoln/die...ie_state=mdsAlso 1DR-006: https://coppercoins.com/lincoln/die...ie_state=mds1DR-005 looks so much like this new proof DDR, so why does one get the disclaimer but the other doesn't?

Is that a die chip in the upper loop of the S of TRUST or just discoloration?
(Neat marker if it is a die chip.)

Nice spot. It is a die chip I think I've been looking for that as a marker trying to research this
